Transform your day:

My ultimate morning routine revealed

Today, I'll show you how you can create a morning routine that sets the right tone for your day.

Starting your day with a well-planned routine can have a big impact on your overall productivity, mindset, and well-being.

Unfortunately, lots of people find it hard to stick to a morning routine due to things like:

  • Lack of purpose

  • Waking up too late

  • Scrolling social media

  • Feeling hungover

But don't worry! You can beat these challenges and build a morning routine that works well for you.

Here's what my morning routine looks like, inspired by The Miracle Morning, to give you some ideas for your own routine:

Affirmations (2 mins):

Once I've woken up, drunk a sh*t load of water, taken my supplements, and made a cup of coffee, I sit down and read my affirmations out loud.

I revise these each month and use them to tell my subconscious what I am trying to achieve and how I’m going to go about it.

Here is an example from January, which is now a reality for me in November:

Visualisations (10-15 mins)

Next, I visualise my long-term goals and dreams as if they're already happening.

This helps me focus on what truly matters and helps me avoid things that don’t fit my long-term vision, like going on a bender at the weekend and messing up the following week.

Here's what I’m visualising currently:

A lot of people think visualisations are woo-woo, but if manifestation isn’t for you, think of visualisation as focusing on what you want so you take the steps required to make it a reality.

Wealth Walk (10 mins)

I take what Jesse Elder calls a "Wealth Walk" around the block. During this short stroll, I think about what I’m grateful for that day.

It's more than a walk, however. It's a way to catch some natural light, get my body moving, and boost my mood by reminding myself of good stuff happening in my life.

Here are some things that often pop up during these walks: the weather's good, feeling healthy, closing deals—simple things that I could easily take for granted.

Journalling (3 mins)

Right after my walk, I open up Notes on my phone and write down the six main things that stood out during my Wealth Walk.

Here’s an example of what a typical entry might look like:

Rereading this helps me appreciate even the small things and lifts my mood.

Stretching (8 mins)

Stretching is a new part of my morning routine, mainly to help me release tension from old injuries.

I follow an 8-minute routine on the Headspace app called “Morning Check-In.”

It’s short, simple, and helps me feel relaxed and more flexible, setting me up for the next part of my morning.

Meditation (12 mins)

Meditation is my non-negotiable. I use the Headspace app for a 10-minute guided meditation.

It's straightforward, helps with my inner peace and focus, and makes me feel like a better version of myself.

I also think it helps me as a salesperson. It creates space between my thoughts, making me calmer and less likely to react when prospects trigger me.

Audible (15 mins)

While making breakfast, I listen to a personal growth book for about 15-20 minutes on Audible

It's a great way to learn new things like spirituality, sales, or managing money while making the most of this dead time.

In summary

By coming up with a morning routine (and doing it consistently), I'm confident you'll experience a transformative shift in your mindset and the way you handle life.

Try these steps and see how they fit into your world. If you’re anything like me, your morning routine will fast become your favourite part of the day, and you’ll carry a relaxed vibe into the day as you slay.

Remember, what works for me might not work for you, so switch it up if needs be, and make this morning routine yours.
